Women Making History, Queen of the Cards T-shirt

From Women Making History: The Revolutionary Feminist Postcard Art of Helaine Victoria Press by Julia M. Allen and Jocelyn H. Cohen

  • The clever and charming image was printed in purple, red, and blue on white shirts. Helaine Victoria Press had created two previous T-shirts, one featuring the Rosie the Riveter image and one displaying a photograph of Zora Neale Hurston. Two more T-shirts followed in later years, with images taken from popular Helaine Victoria cards, including Sojourner Truth and Amelia Earhart.
