The reputed author reminds the reader of all the things worth doing in life … climb more mountains, take more chances, relax, perhaps have more troubles but fewer imaginary ones … a simple, wise, and lively list of what she would do “If I Had My Life to Live Over.”

Nadine Stair, "If I Had My Life to Live Over" broadside

From Women Making History: The Revolutionary Feminist Postcard Art of Helaine Victoria Press by Julia M. Allen and Jocelyn H. Cohen

  • One of three broadsides created for Helaine Victoria’s 15th anniversary on handmade paper in an edition of 60 sheets of paper. For each of the three prints, Cohen made 60 sheets of paper, 9” x 12” inches. Printed in blue on handmade abaca and burlap white paper with purple, yellow, and pink layers. For a less expensive edition, Jocelyn Cohen used machine-made cover stock paper for another 200 copies, adjusting the design as necessary.
