University of Michigan (U-M) President Mark Schlissel established the U-M President’s Commission on Carbon Neutrality (PCCN) in February 2019 and charged it with recommending a plan for U-M to achieve carbon neutrality. The PCCN’s final report presented here recommends timelines, pathways, and strategies for U-M to achieve carbon neutrality in a comprehensive, affordable, sustainable, equitable, inclusive, transparent, and scalable way. Also presented here are a series of analysis reports, which served as inputs to inform the PCCN’s final report. These publications do not reflect official U-M views, and should not be interpreted as carrying its endorsement.
